Pretty good stuff. If you liked 'One of the Boys' in 2008, you'll like this one. It's chock-full of singles as well.

"California Gurls" has been dominating the charts/radio/video networks throughout spring/summer 2010 ... as have other artists like Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz, Enrique Iglesias and more (with their big singles to boot). "Teenage Dream" is doing quite well at present, and "Firework" is lined up as the next single ... with "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)") and "Peacock" being equally single-worthy in the fall/winter, in my opinion.

Only gripe with the album is that (as reviewers have noted) it isn't as cohesive as some other artists ... due to the amount of co-contributors/writers/producers and such.

Whereas someone like Lady Gaga has more of an image/look/sound and is very involved in her songwriting (having co-credits on the bulk of all her work) and relying on less producers (mainly RedOne, Rob Fusari, Martin K' and a few others) ... Perry's 2nd mainstream album (3rd total) album isn't as cohesive, but it's still an enjoyable listen with much replay value.

Enjoy the tunes ...

Per Wikipedia - "Teenage Dream[3] is the third studio album and second mainstream album by American singer-songwriter Katy Perry. It was released on August 24, 2010 in the United States.[4] The album's lead single titled "California Gurls" featuring Snoop Dogg was sent to US radio on May 7, 2010."
