We attended this today at our city Convention Center. 122 Vendors. Everything from foods,jewelry,quilts,soaps,handbags,scarves,etc. All home made.
All the food vendors had free samples. So I had: samples of different home made hot chocolate flavors,biscotti,,dips with pretzels,fudge,Christmas cake and pudding,raisin tarts,cider,chocolate covered cherries,almonds,blueberries. Very generous of the vendors.
Admittance was free. There was a live black lamb at the wool vendor. The same vendor we  visited at their farm in Sept. for Farm Days.
We got a free shopping bag for attending.
I bought many,many items.
It took us 2 hours to walk through all the aisles. Every vendor was very friendly.
I would go again next year. \
I will be reviewing some of the food items I bought ,later.

This centre is near us. It takes in birds(which people find) such as eagles,owls,etc with broken wings and fixes them up so they can be released into the wild again. People bring these birds in to the centre in very poor condition. The birds are dehydrated too.
Baby foxes were brought to the centre who had been abandoned by their mother and the centre fed them and later released them into the wild.
A turtle was brought in with a broken shell and they put 4 brackets on the shell and later the turtle was released. The shell was broken by a propeller of a boat.
We donate to this centre. This is a worthwhile charity for us. We get a newsletter regularly from the centre and sometimes has very sad stories.
Employees  from the centre travel to schools to educate the children. They sometimes bring their wildlife with them.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. The room was alway clean. The bedding and towels were  fresh and clean.  The bed was firm and comfortable.. Service was fast and friendly.The concierge was knowledgeable and gave us the information we requested.  I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Vancouver. I would give this a 5 star rating out of 5.
