Mike and Ikes are my new sweet thing. They're excessively cheap, only $0.88 each at Wal-Mart. You used to be able to get them single, now you have to buy 3 to get that deal. Oh well, I will eat 3 long before they expire. Superstore also sells them cheap.
They have no fat, which is good. Negligible sodium as well. However, a package does have quite a few calories, so it's best if you split a package up into 2 or 3 portions and eat those. If you ziploc them, they become portable. Like trail mix, only not as nutritious.

Some of you might remember my references to 1984 from my early days on Saveland. Langara (a local college) was putting on a performance that I had heard to be very good. Since I have more free time than I've become accustomed to, I decided to go. I got my ticket (which was a great seat) for a very reasonable price. The theatre was sold out, as well.
The show was fantastic. I wasn't disappointed in the least, which is rare. Especially since I love the book so much. It held true to the story, even though there were a few lines I was expecting that had been cut. The creative liberties that they took, including the musical scene, were well done. They had managed to say some of the lines in a humourous manner, which I had never thought of before. Overall, it was a very enjoyable performance.

Earth Hour was great. It really makes me believe that sometimes, technology interferes with our ability to communicate with each other. I had a great time and caught up with some people. I'm definitely going to do it next year, and sort of wish it was a monthly or weekly thing, now.
