Are you focused on the website-based contests?
More into the blog-based ones?
Prefer those offered on Facebook and Twitter?
What do you find yourself aiming for most in recent months/years, fellow Savelanders?

Website based for me. I still don't understand Twitter and I haven't ever won a blog contest and not for lack of trying. I don't think I've won anything on a Facebook contest, except the hairspray I have yet to receive. :) So I would have to say the website based are the ones I am focused on.

I just started entering contests, only on websites. I don't use FB or Twitter. I *tried* to enter on some blogs, but it was a bit confusing with all the "likes", "facebook", "google circle"..do this, do that to gain an entry, etc. If I could just post a comment on a blog, that is what I will stick with!

Good replies, all.
KV and Jsmom - Some pretty good value prizes on both FB and Twitter. The key thing with both platforms is that they're shorter run in duration. The Twitter ones tend to be quick to participate in, although at times you have to sift through alot of content on your timeline to find the stuff (unless you are checking specific profiles). Facebook's easier to sort through.
Alessandrina - Agreed regarding blogs. Many are becoming a bit overwhelming the past year or so with the various methods of entry. Also, some formats are generating thousands upon thousands of entries ... so the odds aren't as strong overall.

Have been doing a few facebook contests, but the majority are always website-based. Don't tweet, but who knows. I also said that about texting a year ago and find myself communicating with my daughter the majority of the time via text.

Somerset - There are a good mixture of offerings out there. What's nice is the variety ... something for everyone on the various platforms (sites / forums / blogs / FB / Twitter).

I am also finding that there are less contests out there.

Web-based and FB mostly, though I am considering looking into twitter. It seems that many contest sites are moving in that direction.
