I (not being very domestic) am in need of assistance. My toaster recently gave way when an acquaintence of mine stabbed it with my screwdriver (very long story), and I'm in need of a good one. I'd like to get something that's not super cheap, but is still inexpensive. I tried to find one that is suitable yesterday, but no luck.

Best toaster I have ever had is a T Fal Avante - often go on sale at CTC for 39.99, available in white or black.
