What store always treats you well?
What store treats you well over and over with their great service and deals or just makes you want to come back?
Mark's WorkWearhouse is one of them, they replaced a pair of sneakers after almost a year when one of the eyelets fell out, we did not have the bill but they were able to look it up on the computer (?only because we used credit card not sure) and gave a replacement pair.  The next year we had another problem with the replacements and we went in to talk to them and they allowed a $15 reduction in price of new pair.  This is nice to be treated well and not have to argue like you would in some stores.

If you go to a high-class restaurant, they expect you to tip, so they treat you VERY well in order to make you leave a grand tip.

I've always been pleased with Best Buy. I like the fact that it is non-commission and they pretty much leave you alone (unlike Future Shop). I was there first thing in the morning with others during Door Crashers Week last March and it was very pleasant. Relaxed/quiet/peaceful. I approached THEM to ask about the tv I was buying, and the phones I was looking for. Very respectful staffing ... and they helped me out to my car and getting the tv properly squished into my Toyota Echo ... which was a really tight fit, haha.

Had a nice experience at Walmart during the summer. I was browsing near the pharmacy section and also checking out soaps/shampoos/vitamins/toothpaste and such, spotting some deals. The manager was in the area and chatting to staff as they passed by and also doing some price-scanning and adjustments of products on shelves, and struck up a conversation with me. Very friendly woman ... at the one just off of Grandview Highway just inside of Vancouver. We talked about how shopping is a challenge (in general) due to the variety of prices on products/goods amongst all the stores, and never quite knowing when things will go on sale ... due to fluctuations with same.

Also had a nice experience at Superstore (also in Vancouver) a few months back. I asked for some help locating some Tupperware and kitchen-based items that had recently gone on sale. One of the staffing helped me locate the items and then came back about 5 minutes later to ask me how I was doing in the area as I was browsing a few aisles sizing things up as the price wasn't changed on the rack/shelving. So she told me - "If you end up buying it up at the till - but the price isn't properly reflected in the transaction, just ask the cashier to give me a shout and I'll come up and help". I didn't end up buying the items, but the cashier was friendly as well and double-checked the flyer, and called for a double-check on the pricing, etc. Cool cashier too ... wish I saw her more often. Very friendly and great sense of humour. Could have easily been a stand-up comic in her past career (or as a side gig). Had all the customers laughing as she warm-heartedly asked them if they'd be interested in buying the "deal of the day/deal of the week" which was a package of Irish Spring soap. Everyone kindly/politely refused and  she'd grin saying - "Heh-heh ... I tried, right?"

The girls in Cleo's are always very helpful, ask if you need help, accept returns & make price adjustment, if item goes down further in price, calls another store if you are searching for an item they don't have anymore, friendly service like that makes you pleased with your purchase!

I've mulled this over and I'm sad to say that I don't think any store treats me well. They're all staffed by kids who would rather be talking to their friends than doing the job they're paid to do. It's pretty bad anymore... customers are inconveniences...

For me, Sobeys treats me the very best. While the issues are few, they HAVE empowered their employees to solve issues right away, as it is most often a small issue anyway, but no questions asked...easy to get a resolution.
