I was wondering about the Mandarin restaurant. I haven't eaten there for the life of me, I was wondering how the food's quality and if the value for money is well worth it. I've seen tons of commercials, but haven't tried it out myself. Should I try it out or should I keep my money?

Good food. I loved the fact that they have variety. If you like Canadian version of Chinese buffets then you would like the Mandarin.

I'd suggest going for lunch if you're unsure - it's cheaper. Since it's buffet style you're getting a good variety, and can definitely get your money's worth. I usually eat light throughout the day so I can get a couple plate fulls - then it's 15 bucks well spent. ;]

The food is good and the prices are decent. There is definitely a lot to choose from... you definitely won't leave feeling hungry or overcharged.

The food is definetly good, and the variety is unmatched, but the pricing for the dinner hours requires you to be able to eat a fair amount to make you feel like you're getting your money's worth. It is definetly worth a try though.

Food is good and like others the price is right, just make sure not too go during seafood night because it is even more expensive but worth it if you do like seafood.

Mandarin is always a good time if you go with a group of friends. Sure there are better quality places out there, but everyone loves the Mandarin.

I would be interested in learning whether they post the ingredients or nutritional value of their dishes anywhere within eyesight of the patrons. My guess is that the calorie count and recommended daily sodium intake would put off a large majority of people.

The Mandarin is awesome. Fortunately my boss takes us once or twice a year. The first time I went I ate so much my stomach literally hurt since then I learned to pace myself LOL. There is sooooo much variety and you can try things in small bits you may never have thought to try. YUM

Food seems to be generally good and consistent from location to location. Not gourmet by any means -- but there is a good selection and the price seems to be more than reasonable. Can be crowded and noisy during peak times -- but I think that just goes to show how popular it is.
