Purchased this to use on a recent surgical scar and already I am pleased with the results. Some of the redness and soreness from the dissolving stitches is lessening and the skin seems less inflammed. It is expensive $11 for small bottle / $21 for large bottle but I think it is worth it.

They cover their butt by saying it may take up to 3 months for results.

I had thyroid surgery - used it twice daily on the scar for about 6 months. The scar is practically invisible. You have to really be looking for it to see it. I never noticed any stains on clothes but maybe I didn't get any on my clothes - I don't know. I did have an old small scar on my leg I used it on - and there was no change.

I just recently purchased Palmer's cocoa butter skin therapy oil. I had seen it advertised on CityLine. and decided to buy. I have only been using for a week. It's the same as the BioOil (for the same concerns ). I use it on my neck and legs for hydration. I really like it. You can also use is on the face, it states, but I use my face creams that I like.

I think time was the answer for my scar. It looks better now than last year.

I use Palmer's cocoa butter too! I have often wondered about BioOil too, but I've read more negative than positive reviews.
