Pleasantly surprised with Crazy, Stupid, Love. It had its funny moments ... good cast - Ryan Gosling / Julianne Moore / Emma Stone / Kevin Bacon / The Mom from The Hard Times of RJ Berger (on MTV / Muchmusic) / Steve Carell, etc. Funny the way they tie everything together ... and show the different levels of hook-ups, crushes, and relationships. Some good scenes with Carell/Gosling, as well as Stone/Gosling, and some funny moments throughout the film with the young actor playing Carell's 13yo son.
Won free tickets to the Monday, July 25th screening in Vancouver and took my dad ... both of us enjoyed it, as did the crowd. The movie opens in wide release this Friday, July 29th and will be going up against recent releases such as Harry Potter, Captain America, and fellow new release Cowboys & Aliens. Should be interesting to see how well it does in the Top 5 or so ... with Potter/Captain America being the big dogs on the block, and Cowboys & Aliens looking to place well (being a summer blockbuster and all).
I'd recommend Crazy, Stupid, Love. Good mixture of drama and comedy/funny moments thrown in. I'd say a 7/10 from me ...

Thanks for the feedback, Jenna. Yes ... it was a nice film. Crowd seemed to enjoy it, and it was a good mixture of drama, comedy, varied relationships, etc.
Normaj - It'll be out on dvd / Blu-Ray quite soon. We caught the premiere of the movie back on June 25th, so it'll probably be arriving early to mid-fall for rental and sale.
