received a call from the toronto star telling me i won a pair of tickets in their private box to the toronto rock's home opening game against calgary for this sunday :)

it was a cool experience. the toronto star has an amazing box on the 200 level. the staff were amazingly friendly with plenty of food and drinks (even booze !!). i hadn't seen a pro lacrosse game since the old toronto shooting stars many years ago so i found it terribly interesting. it was nice to live like a rich guy for a night :)

It sounds like you had an awesome time. Times like that you get to see how the other half lives. lol

Lacrosse is a great game ... I played from ages 8/9 - 13 for Burnaby and really enjoyed it ... great workout ... played soccer from ages 5 - 18 ... and bball recreationally from 12 onward.

Hope you enjoyed your win, leswill. My sons and I have won several Wonderlist contests, and we've always been treated very well, and often we ended up with a prize or amenities that was more than was advertised. For example my son won passes to watch a hockey practice and game in Toronto for 24, but since he was inviting all his food service employees from Wonderland, he ended up with about 28 people, but were all accommodated without complaint, plus they got great loot bags and got to meet some of the hockey players before and after the game. The event made for really great relations between my son and his employees (though it was on Wonderlist's "dime"), and for that my son was grateful, because he's looking forward to a really busy year at Canada's Wonderland, and he needs all the staff happiness and cooperation he can get! Hope to hear about other winner's experiences.
