Korean BBQ

We ate it for the first time last week at the Aria in Oceanside California, OMG.. can't believe I've lived so long without eating this. I had Kalbi or ?? not sure of the spelling. It'll be my quest when I get home to the Island to hunt some of this cooking down. Anyone out here enjoy it too? If so, what else should I be trying?

Oh man--I love it but it's been so long I forget the names of the dishes. Korean food rocks--yet there are so few places that serve it.

yes  Not the food I sampled, it was marinated thin slices of short ribs , cooked on a grill and served with rice, kimchi, a vegetable stir fry and pickles. All delicious.

We're having home made chicken wings tonight, baked in the oven and basted with Korean Barbeque Marinade and Sauce by Asian Family. I've never eaten it before but if lcking my fingers is anything to go on, it'll be scrumptious!

We have a Korean restaurant near us and were reluctant to try it as my husband does not like spicy. But we might now try it.

Toronto has a big Korean community, with many resturants, and not too long ago I had their BBQ dinner for the very first time, and it was awesome. I can't wait to try it again. I just hope I can remember what some of those dishes are called.

I've never had Korean food either, but I think I would really like it.
