Good intro' from Mauro Ranallo (Canadian sports personality) at the start of his daily podcast on Wednesday, February 8th.
He's long been involved in the sports of mixed martial arts and wrestling, and has done commentary work for The Score, CBS, and Showtime over the years, as well as his once-a-week television program The MMA Show (on The Score) and the accompanying podcast which runs daily based out of Toronto. He's originally from B.C. and in his early-40s, and has been battling mental health issues for 20+ years ... specifically Bipolar Effective Disorder, and is known as one of the most dedicated, colourful, and hard-working personalities in the media side of the game - going by the nickname - "The Bipolar Rock & Roller".
* I enjoyed the start of his show on Wednesday and thought I'd share with the Saveland community. Listen to the first 4 - 5 minutes, and the part wherein he wishes his younger brother a happy birthday and noting his family has become his support network over the years, and it being tough back in the day.
