I would like a deal

The Oh Baby contest to Jamaica contest just opened my eyes to something very interesting. There are quite a few "thumbs up" for this contest. I am racking my brain to figure out why? The winner of this contest has to PAY their own airfare, the WINNER also has to PAY a processing fee of $25 per day! So, my conclusion is that quite a few of Savelands members obviously don't read rules and privacy agreements. Or all of you that vote for the contests and enter them either are not paying attention to what you sign up for! Or you just vote for something for more points. The generic "thank you" or "write something" that people consistently use is yet another example of this. Quick point payoffs for all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I had not posted that contest. I had it posted and then found the processing fee in the small print.

I think alot of people do not bother to read the rules,I know I skim sometimes.

"The sponsor will post the winner of the contest on it's website by no other means will the winner be notified" This would be the kind of fine print that would be advantageous to read. A contest a while back specified that you had to be at your phone at noon est. on the day of the draw to win. This was not a radio show, just your average website contest.

Good post Dee..I agree with you.. reading the rules and regulations can make a big difference on ones decision to waste time entering or not. The idea of entering everything just to see if you can win something can have drawbacks or worse.

The deveil is in the details and lazy people miss out a lot or cause prblems for others.
I really apprecite the posted comment "single " or "daily "entry" on the postings.
What does one do with the points earned?
I would read the rules if I found them.
