I use my breadmaker on an almost daily basis. I mostly use the dough cycle, then let it rise and bake in the oven. The Robin Hood website is great for a lot of recipes and bread variations |

I've always used RobinHood, I love their website so many recipes, like you say Sarah! |

What is the best brand of breadmakers? |

My father used to make pretty good bread out of these things. Apparently I did not get that gene. Mine is bread unmistakably but good bread still gotta go aways for that. I have fiddled with ingredients but to no avail. Could be the lack of humidly out here. |

Hey Polly and Dinger I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks, good to see your posts. Funny how these conveniences have a way of complicating our lives more. Still though like most of the comments here have stated, there really is nothing more tempting and comforting than the smell of home made bread. |

don't care for the bread cooked in a breadmaker so I cheat, make the dough in it & cook it in the oven |

Has anyone tried making whole wheat mixed with white flour? I don't have a breadmaker but prefer whole wheat breads. Just wondered if it would be worth my while to get one. |
