We use this can opener, it runs on 2 AA batteries and works great.  Only problem is when the batteries run out and you cannot remember how to get it open to replace batteries.  It's tricky to slide the 2 pieces apart, of course the instruction sheet is long gone.  We have not changed batteries very often. 

yep, i have this can opener as well i love it.

I had a B&D one that was one touch and loved it. It won the consumer reports tests. They dont make it anymore. I now have one of those "no sharp edge" openers. It took a while to figure out but does what it's suppose to every time.

I also like that it goes in the drawer and is not sitting on the counter like the old one did.

I agree counter space here is dear here. But then again with only 4 drawers I struggle with organization. I finally went for most used in the closest top drawer, next the bigger larger,less used items the catchall at the bottom. Lastly the top drawer is cutlery. I aint perfect but it works.
