The servers at my local Timmy's are so efficient and friendly that I really hate to moan, but I will anyway. My favourite doughnut is the chocolate dipped. I always go through the drive-through, and my doughnut is handed to me in a bag. Except for the dead of winter, this means that the chocolate sticks to the bag and I withdraw a naked doughnut, which defeats the purpose of the icing. I wrote to Tim's customer service to suggest that staff be instructed to put one of those waxed paper squares on iced doughnuts. Their response was that I should specifically ask for it every time. I would have been happier if they had fobbed me off by saying they'd look into it.

I see your point - icing is supposed to be on the doughnut, you shouldn't have to ask. I would speak to manager in your location.

My husband always has the same complaint about his Boston Cream.

must be more complaints about this, or maybe not enough people pointing out this problem. If Tim Hortons received enough feedback, this should be part of their training.

At our Tim's, they don't even give the correct donut ordered!

You're so right Jenna! I ALWAYS get another muffin than what I ordered! I now check before leaving.

I go to Timmys on a daily basis for my regular coffee and toasted, buttered bagel. Well on my last 2 visits my bagel was neither toasted or buttered. I complained and was given what I wanted, but this morning after I ordered my usual, I noticed that the bagel was toasted, buttered and moldy. Boy, did I have a fit, and I raised bloody hell. So much so that the manager refunded my purchase, and gave me $5.00 worth of free Tim Horton's coupons. I'm thinking of complaining to their head office. I know people make mistakes, but moldy bagels is pure carelessness, and the fault lies with the store manager/owner who is not checking the products he's selling. My wife told me to hold off, and wait to see if it happens again. If it does then go over everybodies heads right to the top, and maybe even the press. I'm sure Tim Horton's won't like that at all.

Well..they tried to make it right....I know they take customer complaints seriously so maybe complain on their website.
I complained to Country Style, wasn't happy with answer...never returned//

I see your point on that.
Service at my local one really varies, but I care most about speed.

i understand, because on very rare occasions i want to enjoy a fresh boston cream & unless i think to ask for it in a small box, the icing is smushed & stuck to the bag.

I always buy instore and now I am glad I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes to be able to see what I ordered.

And their donuts are getting smaller...talk about adding insult to injury. I won't go through drive throughs any longer.
