They are not bad. Their prices are good, and even better when they have a sale which Canadian Tire tends to do. Their stock is not maintained as well as other store in my city, but if you get there when the stock comes in it is good stuff. We have a Home Depot and a Zehrs which have nurseries in the spring, as well as a couple of smalle places with quality stuff so we have a good selection. As with all nurseries though you have to watch the timing as they can run out of what you want later in the planting season.

I bought a lot of my flowers there last year and they were great plants. Their prices were comparable with everyone else's.

I hate it when you buy something one week and the next week it's on sale.

I have to say that one of the best shopping experiences I've had was at Canadian Tire. It didn't start out that way, though. I was trying to find things on my list, but I was getting frustrated by the fact that many of the aisles were blocked with ladders, boxes, etc. One of the store employees must have noticed because she approached me and said, "you look a bit addled. Can I help you?" She helped me find everything I needed and even managed to round me up a cart. I remember I asked to speak to the manager when I was leaving, just to tell them what she had done for me. Good service should be recognized.
