My friend is in the market for living room furniture and I asked her if she considered the Sears Outlet store. I don't know if they have them across Canada, but there are two in the west Toronto area. I went with her and the deals are just amazing. There were gorgeous sofas that had retailed at over $2000, now for less than half price. I honestly don't know why anyone would pay the retail price.
Some were pristine, and others less so. The one she bought had a tiny scratch on the back, about an inch long. I'd gladly take a several hundred dollar discount for it!
She also bought a Roots sweatshirt, originally $50, for $9.99.
I don't buy much anymore but I used to shop at that store a lot. Guess I'm getting cheap in my old age. ;-)
