Walmart Canada to spend $750 million

With Target entering the Canadian landscape, Walmart appears to now have some competition. In the wake, Walmart had purchased 73 Zellers and remodel them. Good for the Canadians as a whole, this will provide more jobs. Walmart has not yet provided details as to where the locations will be. Walmart had already open 40 supercentres last year.

We got our Walmart Superstore at least a year ago...and we're getting a Target too. Cant wait to see the price competitions! :D

The Walmart close to me just switched over to a Supercentre. It is always busy.

Competition usually drives down prices across the board or at least keeps them in check. Despite the naysayers, Walmart and Target create/provide a large number of jobs. A lot of people think that the government fulfills this role in society.
