At Superstore today I got a free sample of Mini Babybel cheese. I brought it home.  Very generous of Superstore.

Any free samples for you lately

I dont usually take any of the food samplings at stores. I knew a food tester and training is minimal and I have little confidence in their food safe practices.
Now a babybel is wrapped in wax - love those! but Id then wonder if it had been refridgerated. So no freebies at the store lately for me :)

That is a good sample. Safeway was giving away a piece of a mooza cheese log not the whole log.

I used to love Safeway's samples when I was a kid growing up in the 80s. We'd often pass by with mom or dad during a grocery run, and it was always fun going around trying out bites of various items. Miss those days =)

I sometimes try samples at Costco. At Christmastime they had samples of a chocolate concoction which was sssooo good!

lol I still need to go to costco at lunch for samples its very close to our office. Kind of funny we had staff visiting from edmonton today asked them where they were going for lunch and they said costco

you really don't see much in the way of free samples anymore...and if there is someone in the superstore, it is always some kind of food I would not purchase anyway.
