I would prefer to see recipes posted that have been made and tried by the poster or made and served at a function and the poster could report the general comments and reactions from the people who sampled them. There are millions of recipes that could be copied and pasted in here that would serve as no indication if they are worth the expense, time and effort to try them. ______________________ |

it's great to see pictures of your creations as well. I did that when I submitted my banana bread recipe. |

I agree, old favourite recipes are the ones I appreciate hearing about, someone else has fine-tuned and perfected them esp the potluck dishes that get the raves from everyone. |

Pictures of the homebaked product, gives me, a not so great cook a better idea how it should turn out@Jennifer I remember that bananna bread,it made me want to make it.Potluck dishes are also very popular with me as i use them alot, so it is imperitve that they be tried first before I take them to someones house. |

When you see the recipe sheet/page/card/book ... it's tattered/worn/rough-looking. It's been through the ringer, so to speak and had ingredients and food spilled on it numerous times |
