I've been looking around for cardboard boxes that I don't have to pay for, or at least reasonably priced ones (e.g UPS telling me it'll cost $10 for a giant box ) Anyone got some good suggestions?

Liquor stores didn't have any quality ones, nor did Safeway (quality being usable). Anyone else got some suggestions?

What about the supermarkets, they often have some good ones, but usually medium or small size.

Starbucks often has good sized ones too, they are always happy to give away and the generally do not contain food products so they are nice and clean! Newspapers usually give away end of roll paper for very little as well!

Office depot, Staples. They have lots of those perfect paper boxes with the lids that come right off.

If you need really large boxes, try appliance stores. Fridge boxes make a great little tunnel for kids to call through.

many of the grocery stores don't provide bags anymore and have cardboard boxes in the front of the store- that is where I got my boxes when I moved

I'm actually looking for cardboard boxes right now! I will try the liquor store to see if they have any. I was also thinking the dollarama maybe?
It's hard to find big boxes. My friend who works at the hospital got me a bunch of smaller ones for heavy items. I may end up using my hampers instead if I can't find anything.

It is harder to get good boxes anymore as a lot of them are cut open
then pulled apart so they are not in good shape.
