Costco sells Roomba's which rock! Its a little robot vaccum cleaner that means no more vacumning for me. We returned the one we bought in store and upgraded to the one that is time programable.

My mom bought a Shark Infinity in 2008 and really liked it and recommended it. I read up on it online and checked the reviews and they were primarily positive and bought it on sale (something similar to the following one) but in green at Canadian Tire in mid-April 2009 and have really liked it. Good performance/simple maintenance -

Sears and Canadian Tire are always pretty good with their deals. My mom recommended I pick up a Shark Infinity vacuum in 2009, and I picked one up with her at the Surrey location (Canadian Tire) in April 2009, and it's a solid workhorse.
