If you're in the market for an Ipod Touch (4th generation) - now's as good a time as any. Apple prices don't fluctuate too much product-wise. The 8GB model has been holding steady at $249.99 since last fall. The lowest it's gotten to months back was $237.99. My brother bought one at the Best Buy in Seattle for $224.99 last October.
The current Best Buy flyer - http://www.bestbuy.ca notes it's now on sale for $234.99 (save $15). Whereas the larger-size models at 32GB and 64GB apiece are on for $299.99 (save $20) and $399.99 (save $30).
Good to see ... as it'll be interesting seeing how the price holds steady or dips later in the year towards holiday time.

thanks for the tip, just $10 bucks more than the US. Unfortunately, 13% tax and environment tax would make it more costly here in Ontario.

I think I'll wait until the price drops some more.

PG - Indeed. My brother was really impressed with my 2nd generation model last fall on our roadtrip, and he asked for my help when he sized them up at the Best Buy in Seattle 6 months ago. He bought his for $224.99 (when they were $249.99 in Canada) and was pleased with lesser sales tax and no eco' fee tacked on.
Somerset - That's the tough thing with Apple's price point(s) on goods. They usually hold pretty steady over time and don't drop in price much (Ipods, Iphones, Macbooks, Imacs, etc). If they do go on sale it's usually only in small amounts.

Rose' - Good stuff. They're quite the devices ... put it this way ... this morning I was listening to music and some sports podcasts ... and when I got home I was making myself some breakfast and checking my emails with it, and then I logged onto Facebook and glanced at which friends were online ... and noticed a friend in Detroit, and another in the Philippines were both on ... so I chatted with them via the 'Chat' option on Facebook in real-time. That was fun ... and then refreshed my email inboxes (Yahoo/Hotmail) and then logged off.
