I bought my Toshiba at Future Shop - get the right sales person and they can be very helpful.

Stay away from dell, please.

I actually would reccomend a Dell, their service is excellent provided it's still under warranty.

Dell is having mystery coupon promotion from Apr 2-15, so if you can wait till end of the month, you can get at least 25% off.

I love those things, but I never get a 50% or 75%

I bought a Toshiba from Gizmo's on Bay Street in Victoria, BC. Trustworthy and their customer service is the best.

Doesn't matter what the brand name is. Just make sure you get an intel processor i5 or higher. Avoid the i3 as they had problems with it. I would also avoid AMD and Celeron as they are just cheaper versions of Intel
