This is a one portion meal that came with field roast wrapped in a pastry, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans and roasted squash stuffed with wild rice and cranberries. It cost $13.99 but the portion is big enough for two meals. This year I am not going to any holiday dinners and I don't want to cook a full vegetarian meal for one. This was a perfect meal the sides were the best part. The vegetables are really fresh and it is a nice tasty meal. Although a little pricy for a meal to eat at home ...

Papa John's has recently introduced Pan Pizza. They are using a seperate sauce for it than their other pizza this one is a thick tomato sauce I believve it is crushed tomatoes. The crust is a little thicker than the normal crust its not super thick like the Pizza Hut Pan Pizza. I really like the Papa John's pan it reminds me of an independent pizza store that my family used to order from when I was a kid. The crust is the right mix of soft and crispy, and the sauce is tasty, it has the right amounts of toppi...

My friend told me about this place and then I saw an article about it. This is new to downtown vancouver but there has been a location in Victoria for awhile. When I arrived it was 7:55 on a Friday morning there was a line up at 8 am. I have been inside for 15 minutes and the place is almost full most places in Vancouver are not full at this time so it must be good. It's very comfortable so far lots of people on their own like me nice comfortable decor. The menu has so many options there is something for everyon...

I was excited to find out the gravy is vegetarian as I haven't had New York Fries gravy in over 20 years. I really haven't had poutine in that long I have had a few speiality vegetarian ones but they really haven't been poutine they have been fries with toppings. I was excited to be able to have something that resembles poutine even though I knew it wouldn't be authentic. I enjoyed this the fries were crispy and hot, the gravy was tasty and ther were a lot of cheese curds. I would have liked more...

The hard rock casino (Vancouver/Coquitlam) has converted one of the restaurants they had before into a buffet. I have been to the buffet twice now and I have to be a little biased because the two times I have eaten the buffet and then went into the casino are the two biggest winning days I have ever had in any casino. I have eaten in other restaurant in the hard rock and had no luck in the casino until I ate the buffet.  The first time was new and it was around 5 which was the start of dinner the line was prett...

If you have never been to the Richmond Night Market there are many food stalls and various food items along with the very normal asian style items but the dessert items seem to have a lot of interesting shapes. Walking down the food stall I thought does that sign really say poo bun and what is a poo bun. My friend yes I saw it before the bun is shaped like a turd and it served with condensed milk. Left it at that but after roaming and looking at the price of mini donuts $12. We decided that this 3 buns for $5 would ...

Carnevino is in the Venetian in Vegas. We were actually on our way out going to another hotel restaurant but were hungry and checked out the menu and decided to stay. I am so glad we did. First the host asks about any dietary restrictions told her we were vegetarian and she put it in the computer. The server came over to explain the menu first thing he suggested we try the meat special so the message about vegetarian didn't get to him. Once I told him he explained every vegetarian item on the menu. The menu is o...

We were thinking about sushi on our way home saw this and decided to stop. We were going to get take out but decided to stay after we were in the place was really busy. We just sat at a small table and we were lucky to get it. We noticed that it was full of customers but none were asian. The service was good and prompt. The food was pretty good the sushi to me was okay not the best but not bad. However the bill was suprisingly cheap. We had some sweet  potatoe patties for an appetizer, came with 6 of them and s...

This restaurant is in one of the most expensive areas of downtown Vancouver they have a $9.99 breakfast special that includes two eggs, hash browns, and toast and sausage ( they replaced my meat with grilled tomatoes. For the location and the atmosphere this is a good value. I like the decor of the place I am not sure what country I am supposed to be in though. It's France or Italy they have left travelling books around for the decor. The service is really good just attentive enough not annoying. My breakfast wa...

This restaurant is close to my office and a very nice place to come for breakfast. I like coming here at breakfast time as it is not that busy the staff is very attentive. I ordered egg florentine it came with two English muffin top with a load of spinach tomato and two poached eggs topped with holland side sauce. The eggs were cooked to perfection and there is some herbs that gave it a nice flavour. I found the hollandaise to be too salty and runny but mixed with the other things on the plate it is a nice balance. ...

This is a new place in coquitlam. It is pretty small inside but is actually located on a side of the street where there isn't any other food places just offices. I ordered take out. Got a veggie box for myself it contained yam tempura roll, tofu terriyaki, and salad. I liked everything in here the terriyaki had nice vegetables like pieces of zuchini and peppers and the sauce and the tofu were a little greasy but I liked it all togehter. The yam tempura roll had avacado and cucumber in it and the salad had a nice...

Yes back at this place this time a cookie and pumkin spice latte. It's mid day thanksgiving Sunday different clientele than last time. People by themselves on their computers really great place to get some work done. The music is light. When the cashier came out he appologized for being in the kitchen. I didn't mind I was looking at the food. When I ordered the cookie he asked if I wanted it warmed up I thought that's great. I didn't ask what kind of cookie it is looked like chocolate chip. He brough...

Although this food truck serves breakfast items its out on the road at lunch. The menu is pretty limited gourmet breakfast items. I just wanted a snack I orered the hashbrown skewer which has lemon truffle oil on it. There was no line so my order was taken right away. I thought I had to wait a really long time for something deep fried. Chunks of pototatoes deep fried on a skewer I am not sure what kind of potatoes. The skwer was wrapped in foil and there were green onions on top. A good amount of pototaoes about 8 b...

I was always walking by this place while it was under construction wasn't sure what it would be but I knew it was going to be a place that sold something sweet . I think it recently opened I walked by it last week could tell what they were selling from the window but there were people in it. Today I went in it was around 6 so it wasn't a rush but there were people in it not a big place where they would expect a lot of people to sit and eat. There were some options in the display Oreo, toasted almond, double ...

The service is really good as soon as you walk in  they tell you about the menu one is coffe tea bubble tea and the good items are waffles, soups, other snack like items. It's clean and open. The clientele is mostly young Asian people but thee are some older people who look like they are working. It is a very good place to work the background noise is really soft and relaxing music is playing. I settled on the spec...
