This is an all inclusive resort in punta Cana. It is a complex of five resorts and this is the furthest from the beach and the cheapest. I really enjoyed it the staff were all friendly our housekeeper didn't speak English and I only speak a little Spanish but it wasn't a problem she was always around we could communicate what we needed. There was only one bed in the room we wanted two so they came right away and made the day bed it was comfy. There was always a tram available to take us where we wanted to go...

I have been to Vegas many times and I now prefer staying off the strip at South Point. This time I went with a 21 year old so decided to stay on in the center of strip so she could have her full legal Vegas experience. As we were on a budget I was able to get us a rate of $28 per night through my total rewards account for the Linq hotel  plus $25 resort fee that most Vegas hotel have no. I was hesitant as even the regular price was at $60 per night so low for a mid strip hotel and the reviews were varied but it...

My friends and I had a social shopper voucher. This included a double or king suite and a seperate living area with  a sofa bed, a bottle of wine, and a $25 dining credit. There were 3 of us and they said the first night woulld be a king suite and we could move to the queen the next night. This was fine. The location was good less than a $10 cab ride to attractions. It is in a quiet area there was a subway and a gym accross the street and not much else. There is something wrong with the staff or management in t...

I took this tour in February and haven’t forgotten Alex and his driver. If you visit Cuba contact Alex for a private tour anywhere in Cuba. He picked us up from the hotel in Varedero in a nice car and took us to Havana. We stopped in all the places we had an interest in; there was never any push to visit anywhere we didn’t want to go like on regular tours.  Was so great to have a private English-speaking guide who was from Cuba and knew exactly where we would want to go. I wanted to go to the chocol...

This is near seattle only a few hours drive from Vancouver. The hotel is beautiful the price is really expensive relative to Vegas but about the same as Vancouver prices once all the extra's are added. I don't often stay in expensive hotels but I wanted to go somewhere for my birthday and I couldn't get away for more than a couple of days so this was a good option. I had a tulip festival package which included breakfast for 2 days, admission to the tulip festival and the bus, valet parking is also free for everyone t...

We  booked a social deal bus to whistler and as it was leaving at 6:30 am we decided to stay here for the night. One of the reasons is they allowed 24 hour parking as parking normally costs $14/hr and many of the other hotels start charging by the hour after 1pm.   All of the staff was very friendly and professinal. The room was nice with starbucks coffee and a fridge in the room. Our room overlooked the pool which was nice and right outside is a beautiful stroll on the water. The queen beds were a little s...

I only stay here when I get a free night as nice as it is I always need to get a deal and their regular prices are not around $75 a night plus $20 a night resort fees. Vegas tip even if you don't gamble sign up for a rewards card at the hotel. I have received free nights at Harrah's hotel even though I have never gambled there I only signed up for the card for the food discount. Mandalay Bay is part of M hotels and I do like to gamble there but I am a small gambler at the most I'll spend $60 but it seems to be enough...

There is a nice bingo hall upstairs at the hotel. Its a large room and they offer complimentary drinks. I am not a bingo player just got an electronic machine that all I had to do was wait for the music to play. I won $300 but I still found the game boring. It was a nice comfortable place to waste an hour for $20 if you just want to chill in a nice room and people watch its pretty good plus the odds are really good  you are not allowed to sit in the room unless you are playing. I like the idea that they have non...

Can't beat this the price is less than $7 and with the 50% off coupon its $3.50 for a buffet its a decent buffet with a lot of variety. Chinese and Mexican food plus the usual breakfast buffet fair fruit, pancakes, waffles, sausage, potatoes etc. There was nothing that stood out at as the best thing I have ever had but it was a nice variety and a good way to start the day.  Even the days I didn't want buffet it would cost $4 just to buy a bagel so why not just go to the buffet and eat whatever you wanted. I was ...

This is the 24 hour restaurant inside South point. I ate here twice they have two menu's a diner style one and a chinese menu. Both times I ate off the chinese menu. Its about $8 a dish and comes with rice and tea, and noodles that were crunchy with dipping sauce as an appetizer. The tea was a tea bag, with lemon and honey on the side. The food was a really big portion enough for two+ people and very good. The servers are from different countries and didn't speak much english but they did their best to bring whatever...

This is my second review of the same hotel but I experienced more of the hotel this time. The hotel includes airport transfer and the bus was on time it was kind of cold once the sun had gone down at around 5 pm. Got to the hotel and felt the hotel was a little smokey this time but because there are doors facing outside fresh air everywhere it wasn't that bad once I got used to it. Check in was a breeze and came with coupon books for the hotel 50% off any buffet, buy 1 get one free bowling, 10% of seattles best, a fr...

Allegiant air is an airline that flies out of bellingham airport. On their website you can select flight only and the prices of flights change daily. They usually have some great deals I have had flights with them from bellingham to Vegas for $25 in the past and because US taxes are much cheaper than Canadian a flight with taxes can cost as little as $40. This time I went from bellingham to Vegas for $130 return. You do have to do some work on booking the flight to get rid of all the extra charges unclick priority se...

If I don't write about my trip right away I'll never do it so my next series of reviews are going to be about places I enjoyed on  My Vegas trip feb 20-24. I got a great deal on allegiant air from bellingham $130 taxes included for a return flight. I find flying to the US is much easier from bellingham as once you drive across the border no immigration and its only about a 1 hour drive from my house to the airport. I find flying out of Vancouver takes up the entire day get stuck in traffic and immigration is a m...

I have booked another trip to Vegas and realized that I am never staying on the strip again because I fell in love with this hotel that is technically on the very south end of the strip but actually too far out to be considered part of the strip. For people who have never been to Vegas I would recommend staying on the strip. For people like me that have been to Vegas a million times and go because they have sun and its cheaper to go there than stay in my your own city this is the place for you. This is a local's hote...
