My Activa paper shredder model DQ81M frustrates me on a regular basis.  It has a flap inside for some reason, my older shredder does not have one.  The paper gets all caught up between the shredder and the housing and whenever I put it on auto, it shreds the pages and continues to run for a long time after.  The problem is the small chunks of paper caught.  I have tried to fish them out with a letter opener or screwdriver but they just get packed in more.  I think it is a design fault.  To use it I only turn it on when I put paper in to be shredded and turn it off right away.  Wish there was an easy solution.
