This reality show has been on television for several seasons and is about Gene Simmons from Kiss, his wife Shannon Tweed and their kids. It is very unbelievable, as the show devises "situations" that are not very realistic. Plus he comes across as somewhat slimy. Not my favorite show -- I don't think I have ever been able to watch a whole show without switching the channel to something else.
This is a relatively new reality show featuring Kirstie Alley, and her trials/tribulations as she tried to lose weight. It is actually not as bad as I thought as it was going to be, and she comes across as quite likable. The show is fairly contrived, as are most reality shows of this type, but it sort of grows on you as you watch it.
When Food Basics replaced my local Dominion store a couple of years ago, I didn't know what to think. However, the prices really do seem to be the lowest of all the major grocery stores. You might not get a fancy deli or bakery or meat counter, but you get all the "food basics", and the store is much busier than the Dominion store ever used to be.
Have visited several different Mandarin restaurants with co-workers during the last year for their lunch-time buffet. While it is perhaps too crowded and busy while we have been there, the food is always of a good consistent quality, with enough variety for everyone, and we always leave feeling that we received good value.
