Always been a fan of their newspaper. Readily available in/around the GVRD and surrounding regions ... new issues come out every Thursday, and they're consistently a good read. Their website is solid too (for those who aren't able to pick up the papers in their regions/provinces). Good variety of writers and opinions, and they do a fine job with contests, and their Music and Movies sections respectively and collectively. Just reading their Top Albums of 2010 issue at the moment (December 16 - 23, 2010 edition). Free...

Very nice scents, and perfect for people on a budget who aren't as into paying big $ for the various perfrumes and colognes out there. My mom bought some of the mists for me years ago, and I've liked them ever since. Usually buy 1 or 2 bottles every half year, and they're priced right. Especially if they're on sale or available at the dollar stores and such. Otherwise they can average $2 - 6.99 at most stores/pharmacies and such.   I hadn't bought any in awhile, but picked up 2 bottles for $1.20 apiece at the...

If you have a chance to pick up a package ... definitely do so.   They're basically mini biscotti. BASTONCINI Crunchy Almond Biscuits. Very tasty.   We get them every year or two at work at holiday time, and they're always a nice treat. Crunchy and delicious ... great to have with milk, coffee, or tea. If you like biscotti, you'll like these.     http://fiordifruttausa.com/bastoncini.shtml http://fiordifruttausa.com/indexnflash.shtml http://www.audreyandmarco.com.au/SiteMedia/w3svc4...

I hadn't had this cereal in many years, and decided to get a box in recent weeks during an earlier shopping session. Really enjoyed it. Quite tasty and priced right (it was on sale and I had a coupon for it as well). I'd certainly buy it again, and often would overlook it as Superstore would have it priced at nearly $5, so it was nice to see it on for $2.79 or $2.99 plus the $1 off coupon was handy to boot. I chose the regular green box variety , as opposed to the other flavour(s) out there, such as Fruit & Nut....

Solid album. Geared towards the 18 - 35yo set given the subject matter and innuendos, etc. Her fanbase stretches from teens to adults and she's certainly been through alot the past nearly-2 years, as we've all read/heard about given what happened in early-2009. This album has a more fun, upbeat vibe than last year's album (Rated R), as she was in a darker place at that time and dealing with her healing/recovery process post-February incident with heavy media glare. I've been listening to the singles this past fall...

Saw this movie last night with my aunt. We both quite enjoyed it, and one can't go wrong with the seating at Cineplex Tinseltown in Vancouver. Comfortable "stadium seating" in the first row of the main section with chairs that slightly recline/lean back and some bars in front of you to rest your feet on comfortably. The movie starred Naomi Watts and Sean Penn, and was directed by Doug Liman. Deals with the trials and tribulations of Valerie Plame Wilson and her husband, Joseph Wilson. See my additional linkage below...

Really nice notepads. Called just that - "NOTEPADS ... WITH STYLE!" -  400-pages ... they're about the same of a dictionary or thesaurus. My mom got me one (chocolate chip cookies picture on the front / with a pen attached) as one of my early Christmas gifts this year, and I've got it here in my office. Trying to track down more information online ... but can't seem to find much. From the Dana Collin Collectio n, and it's from Ty Global Imports. Tried Googling ... but didn't find much aside from  http...

Really liking their sound in recent months. They were getting a fair bit of radio rotation on local stations The Beat and Virgin Radio here in Vancouver, B.C. for their lead single "Animal". I picked up their album last month ... and it's a good one. Great for when you're needing a pick-me-up and for some tunes in the car or at the gym when doing cardio' work (which I've done a handful of times already) . They're based out of Provo, Utah with original ties to Temecula, California. I've gotta take a moment and che...

One of my favourite movies in recent years. Watched it in the spring, and then again in the summer. It's from 2007 and was well-received by viewers and critics alike. Good story ... well-acted ... solid cast. Can't go wrong with Casey Affleck, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris, Amy Ryan, Michelle Monaghan, Slaine, Amy Madigan, and more. Based on the novel of the same name by Dennis Lahane. The film is a crime drama-mystery, and centers around the abduction case of a 4 year-old girl from the Dorchester region of Boston . Scr...

Saw the movie this past week, and really enjoyed it. I had high hopes going in after having seen the trailer months ago, and reading up on the film and the production involved. Plus, having really liked Gone Baby Gone (after Affleck film from 2007) earlier this year ... I had a good feeling about this one. Good story ... gritty ... well-acted (especially by Jeremy Renner of The Hurt Locker fame). Take a look at some of the trailer, reviews, and notes below to get an additional feel for what it's all about ... and...

Went to see it the other day as well. Excellent ... Jesse Eisenberg did a great job (been following his career since 1999/2000 and nice to see him get such a solid role here) ... Timberlake and Andrew Garfield were also good in their roles. It topped the box office this weekend. I'd like to read the book 'The Accidental Billionaires' now. Very good script and fast-paced dialogue/screenplay here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB95KLmpLR4 97% Tomatometer / 81% Audience - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the-soci...

http://www.presidentschoice.ca/LCLOnline/products.jsp?type=details&keywords=Blue+Menu&_requestid=2003676&next=289&productId=19365 Tried a box of these a few weeks ago ... delicious! Very good as cereal, or mixed in with yogurt/fruit. I'd definitely recommend a box, as you can pretty much not go wrong with the bulk of the PC Blue Menu brand products. Just glancing at the President's Choice website alone and general product reviews is evidence of that as well ... people are liking what they're ...

Delicious ... I've been pleased with pretty much all of Triscuit's offerings in recent years. Lots of tasty crackers available. These are probably my fave of the lot. * Just wait until they go on sale ... as they tend to vary amongst all the stores. They can range from $1.50 - $3.49 (as with other products in their line) amongst the various stores ... so I usually wait until they're on sale for about $1.67 - 1.78, as they were on for the latter at present at Superstore (western) and have been hovering between $1.9...
